Art and music for me is like a balm. I often use them for healing hurt places in my soul. For my first final art project, I chose to draw my wedding dress — the dress I’d hoped to wear for many more valentines days and other romantic holidays. I’d spent months shopping for just such a dress and I found it. Things didn’t turn out quite like I was expecting and I eventually gave the dress away.

I wanted to portray the sadness I felt whenever I looked at the dress. The walls are crying and the fact that it hangs in the bathroom is kind of a statement itself.
