Blue Town – (22″x30″ Quilted Art $500)

I had been thinking about a piece in blue, a sort of geometric, maybe abstract (whatever that is, the true meaning still eludes me)… at any rate, I started “Blue Town” as a just fun, nothing serious experiment in stitches and  colors. It was inspired by some photos of Jodhpur in India where in one part of the city, they paint the buildings blue. I had tried to paint it but couldn’t, finally found it in the fabric and thread.
