The Arch – (20″x16″ Watercolor $250)

I went to St. Paul’s Cathedral once. Inside it was cool and dark and peaceful compared to noisy, bright and bustle of the London city traffic outside. When it was time to leave, I felt myself pause at the doorway, not that excited about being thrust back into the noise and bother outside. I questioned my own instinct to put the arch in the direct center of this piece but I went with it and now I’m glad. It’s just like that doorway in faraway London and I have that same feeling of wanting to stay in the cool, dark, peaceful space just a bit longer.
