Wildflower Field – (20″x24″ Mounted Quilted Art $500)

An experiment that partly worked and partly didn’t. Painting with fabric is a whole ‘nother thing. I used medicine bottle cotton for the clouds, partly felted into the fabric and then quilted. I was really pleased with the far background. It’s always a treat living in Central Texas in spring when the highways are dripping with the colors of thousands of wildflowers. “Wildflower Field” 20″ x 24″, quilted art but mounted on rails so it can be framed.
