This is the story of that delicate balance between what we need, which the planet supplies, and what we want, which we extract from the planet at a cost. How much are comfort and entertainment worth when the water is no good for drinking or the air is no good for breathing. How much can we expect others to care for the planet if we ourselves do not. It’s a question, it’s complicated.
